The fella next door to me had one of those, he used to get around his property in it. Not sure it was the same model, but it was a Polaris.

A great little machine.

I've been eyeing off one of those John Deere diesel 4x4 Gator's. Every time I head up to the John Deere joint for a service kit I dribble all over them. grin

A buddy of mine got to use one of the new John Deeres and he said it was really well built. Said that the cab system really blocked off a lot of dust (we get some bad dust here in the summer) and was a good, comfortable machine. I'd really like to have a Honda Pioneer 1000, but man they don't give these things away lol.

Yeah, the honda's aren't cheap here either.
The John Deere Gators here are fitted with petrol or Yanmar diesels.
It's the diesels that I'm interested in. That way you'd only need the one type of fuel.

I've had diesels since 1973 and swear by them.
They are the only vehicle if you want to keep them for the long haul.
My last one I kept for eighteen years and this one I have now I purchased in 2001.
Before that it was a Land Rover and before that a Landcruiser tray top, all diesels.

But I might be biased. grin
Except for a couple of holden utes all have been 4x4's
Never owned a passenger car. grin

Yet you still managed to take a pic before you ploughed/plowed into them!

Nah, I'm wake up to their tricks, though I've smacked into a few over the years.
Even had one wedged into the bull bar. grin

The worst is when they dry gulch you from the side and slam into the door. grin

Wow, it did a number on that ute.

Bull bars really do work, I can only vouch for steel ones as I've never had an aluminium one.

I have had a steel one bent back until it was nearly touching the vehicle.
