Old pic, but...
The Brotherhood RMD with THE knife that started the Swamp ‘craze’ for drop point conversions from clip and trailing points...

Wonder how Richard is doing in the Florida swamps after couple of years to settle in on his old turf. Any of you States side Rats keeping in touch with the boy?

Great shots fellas. cool

Ya know, the swamp could have released these as a model, they about have it all for the perfect bush knife.

Yeah, Richard was the one that got us going on the drop point, not that it took much for me to grab one. I've had a fetish with drop points all my life. grin

I wonder how many of these are out there. I've got two 'DropManDu's' although only one is a Brotherhood blade. Both of mine are FFG and I love them.

Glamour pics when she was new and not marked up...

I remember that dropped six. Awesome blade elof. I haven't talked to Richard in a long time. I see him post on the Becker sub on BF once in awhile in their snark thread.

I’ve got a drop point Brotherhood knife, but I don’t think I’ve ever taken a picture of it. I’ll see if I can get one when I get home in a few days.

I do need to get a nice set of leather pants for it though.

Since no one here knows/has contact with my employers...
In the next 6 months or so, we will be moving to Melbourne, which means I might not have much work for a while... and the planning conversations allow for some extra space for my leathermaking gear...

There will be dedicated update when the time comes...

I just didn't have a chance to talk to him yet, the time frame for things happening only got established late last week...

But thanks! This way he'll blow the steam off before talking to me!

I figure that should shake out all these knives hidden in nooks & crannies...
I probably should take a pic of all the Swamp Rat drop point goodness I've accumulated then

Good luck down there, elof.

The big cities aren't my cup of tea, but then it depends on what your use to.
At least you'll be able to get up into the high country for some camping down there.

That DP6 looks like a very useful knife, pity they never came out a production blade. grin

End of this month Ian, he and I have been trying to find a date but my work schedule has not let up, this is the 5th "weekend off" in a row that they have had my mostly undivided attention.

I'm here the next weekend, and then the last one of March.

First week of April I'm driving down... Managed to convince SWMBO that a drive is a preferred option (her new employer pays for all stuff being moved, so the original option was that my van gets on a train and gets delivered), somehow I have managed not to say what the main reason was...

I just did not trust them to with my steel!

I mean, how do I tell them (for insurance purposes) that there's a few hundred (between fixed & folders) knives in the van?
