Howdy back Tom!

Ian, that makes sense. I was always on my own legs with a dog or two around. I can sure appreciate a good horse, but my days horseback usually end up with me looking at the sky and someone saying 'we've never seen ole crowbait do that before.'

lol, that sounds like me on a motor bike. smile
I always said, two hundred musters to the buster on a horse.
On a bike it's two hundred busters to the muster. grin

Maybe the issue is that on a bike you have to think for both you and the bike, while on a horse there is a second set of brains. smile

Very true. laugh

There's been more than one time at night I've given the horse his head and let him find the way back to camp. grin

Try that on a bike and all it will find is the ditch. I always trusted the horse when there was any doubt, and that never failed. smile

Just dug out an old picture of an old mate playing poker with me, he only called for the one card. I'm pretty sure he was cheating, but I wasn't going to call him on it while he had that 357 mag sitting there. grin

I hate that as well, Tom.
Once we had eight pups dumped just below our gate, and I've lost count of the number of cats that were dumped there.

They see there is no nearby neighbors to catch them doing it, chuck them out the door of the car and just drive off.
