I always have a knife on me regardless of where I go. When I am out and about I have a SOTech Mission Go Bag that carries a multitool, first aid kit, Scrapivore, 50' of Paracord, a signal mirror, whistle, lighters, lip balm, 2 quality lights, a headlamp, and a pocket lantern, extra medications, hard candy, usually a liter of water, and probably a bunch of stuff I can't remember. In my pack I take to work is a duplicate of the EDC plus a lot more stuff since it's a pack. Working in a government building downtown when 9/11 happened, the importance of lights, whistles, food, water, tools, knives, first aid gear, and anything you might need to extricate yourself or a colleague from a bad situation or be able to survive in place for a couple of days was really made clear. In the vehicle I have a hawk, fire extinguisher, fixed blade, 6 bright lights, a handful of folders, first aid kit, tools, jumper cables, my hunting pack (and everything in it, including my Infi RMD and a saw), rubber gloves, a cooler, tree harness, tie downs, snacks, and a wagon for hauling gear. I put the towing straps and power converter in my wife's car. I'll buy more some day. Need to get some chains for the tires and figure out a place to keep a full-size jack. If I can't get home, ain't no one else getting home either...

We're going through a heat wave period here DB.
So can't wait for the colder weather to arrive.
I hope all is well up your way.

I prefer snow to Ice storms, but they usually accompany one another. Either way, I like a warm Hooch.

That does look cold. smile
The dogs don't mind a play in the frost.

Tom, those round bales, do they get covers, or go under cover ?
Just wondering what damGe they get exposed. My experience stops with the old square bales.
I have seen the round bales left in the paddocks here, but have covers.
