Ian-
What do you folks call nippy? Would 40F make your goose bumps rise? (no wind, low humidity)

This morning.
4 degree Celsius = 39.2 degree Fahrenheit
I recon that's brass monkey weather. laugh

But we can get down to -4 celsius on a bitterly cold morning.

Got it. If it is anywhere near where water freezes, you are freezing. wink
Said another way, +4 to -4 Celsuis range is fire in the stove weather.

Say, did you know that -40F = -40C ?
Been in -40F, started talking Australian...

Actually I understand Fahrenheit better than celsius laugh They brought metric in here in the sixties, all the young people only think in metric. If I need a piece of timber 1200mm long, I really recon its 4 feet. laugh

BUT -40 celsius eek I'd just lay down and die. laugh

Ian....I grew up with parents that only spoke in inches, feet, yards and miles. I still say 4x2 instead of 100mm by 50mm. School was metric though even the teachers had trouble as it was new to them ! I never understood farenheit except for cooking. wink
It is bloody cold here some mornings.....frost and all. smile

Haven't been posting much lately but I am still here. Every time I nearly get my technical issues sorted there is a ganza or some knife I ordered but still had to pay for...I miss the Swamp and look forward to returning to daily posting. Won't be much longer.......2 weeks or so.
Long live the Swamp and all who dwell there-in ! wink

Getting better all the time, thanks DB. Back to the surgeon this week to see if he still wants to operate but I can accept what I have. So what if 1 finger is stuffed.......all 5 can still work together and the 2 operations fixed all the bone alignments and fractures....so I am happy to celebrate the gains ! wink
