What laws do you have there with Pit Bulls?

Down here a Pit Bull and some other breeds must be on a leash and muzzled. My Stan would have had to be led the same way. He never got to go where any other pedestrians or animals were anyways, so it really didn't matter.
He often rode in the back of my truck and managed to scare plenty of people that walked past it. grin

He used to roar and go half crazy as soon as someone walked near the truck. laugh

There are different laws for different locations. I know that trying to find an apartment is difficult with a husky. When I was looking for a temporary place for Jaz and myself there were quite a few different apartments that I had to walk away from because huskies were on their "aggressive breeds" list. I was more than a little upset.

Or she's thinking, are you sure I can get rid of these little monsters in a few weeks? grin

Lol. She's already spending some time on top of the dog house rather than in it. smile

Sixteen years is a pretty good run. What kind of dog was he?

.... yeah I own another house back where I grew up. My agent there was against allowing dogs, I said I would be a hypocrite if I didn't as I know what it was like when I was renting here in Sydney with two...!!!!!!!

H/K....my pal Spud was a beagle. He didn't know he was small, and the only dog he shied away from was my 165# Malamute. He used to climb up my bales of hay stacked three high and then tease the other dogs. He was all heart! smile

Agreed. Spud is a great name. I have three fowl named Bird, Duck, and Goose ...the kiss principle works for me.

Jaz was a year old when I first got her, she'll be 6 at the beginning of the year. She refused to answer to the name that the previous owners had given her, "Stitch", so I let her decide what her name was going to be. I spent an entire weekend calling different names. Just when I was about to give up she stopped in her tracks when I said "What about Jaz?". When I noticed her reaction I called to her using her name, she came running and it's stuck.
