Labs are great hunting and family dogs, my sister had one that used to go down to the front gate every morning and bring the newspaper up to the house. grin

A bit slobbered on though. laugh

My dog is AWESOME.

Took Neko on a walk a few minutes ago... I normally take him on long walks at night because its cooler out and there are less people walking their dogs.

I walked him to the park and let him run around inside the fenced in area a little bit, which was really nice because he doesnt get to go off leash very much since he is aggressive with other animals he doesnt know... But there was no one out this late so he got to run around for a while. He had a blast!!

Walking back we had a loose pitbull mix run up on us, it got about 10 feet from us and started growling softly.... So i went to pick Neko up to carry him away and then the other dog started barking at me like crazy... Man, Neko wasnt having that AT ALL!! He went full on defense mode and was snapping showing his teeth and yanking on the leash trying to rip that dog apart!!! The other dog looked at neko like he was crazy..... but he did go away!!

Now, I know if they were both let loose that pit bull mixed dog would likely kill Neko, but i LOVE how much spirit this little dog has!! He was not going to let that bigger dog bully us what so ever, he was like shoot, you gotta show me something LMAO!!!

These are not my pictures.... I just really like them LOL

LOL. They are great shots, WW. grin

What laws do you have there with Pit Bulls?

Down here a Pit Bull and some other breeds must be on a leash and muzzled. My Stan would have had to be led the same way. He never got to go where any other pedestrians or animals were anyways, so it really didn't matter.
He often rode in the back of my truck and managed to scare plenty of people that walked past it. grin

He used to roar and go half crazy as soon as someone walked near the truck. laugh
