-3 degrees this morning with a wind chill of -13. Now that will open your eyes first thing in the morning.

It certainly helped me get through the morning slump! I was wide awake the minute I stepped foot outside to start my truck. WOW was is windy and chilly!

It should not be legal to be this cold.

Howdy rats. I hope everyone is having a good evening. Still sitting in Nashvegas here. One more day then try to beat the weather home.

Is starting a truck a problem in those sort of temperatures?

Just to be different, I'm already brown, but was sun burnt to almost purple today. grin

Tom, from what I've seen on our telly over the last few days in your country, staying at home and keeping warm is a good idea. grin

We'll be driving home in a snow storm tonight. I'm not exactly looking forward to that, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

On Monday, they are saying our high will be about -18 with wind chill around -40. Not a good day to be outside!

Good morning Rats.

Db, stay safe on the trip home. Sounds like that storm is gonna get pretty nasty.

Ian, It can affect vehicles when the temp drops like that. Diesels will gel up really fast and need to be plugged in or have internal heaters. Gas engines are usually good until the temps hit -20.
