For those unfamiliar with this, the attached chart. It should be self-explanatory.

We were at 6 degree wind chill this morning. The cold does not bother me but the wind cuts right to the bone.

Yep, that feels about right.

I'm with Josh. The cold doesn't bother me. The wind cuts right through!

Riding the Harley makes a 22F (this mornings temp) interesting. Then, wind-chill makes it -3 (or so) real fast. Makes me keep rides to under 30 minutes if possible. smile

Just ride faster. You'll go numb quicker and won't feel it as much!

LOL.
Us old fellas feel it a lot worse than you young bucks. grin

Over a hundred degrees here yesterday, so no such worry for us Ryhope inhabitants at the moment.

I'm already numb. Parts of me haven't felt anything for years (don't go there DB smile ). That bike just evens things out. Makes me feel normal. Frozen, but normal.

I just don't need any more frostbite.

Just wander if that table works in opposite direction too... At times we get some really hot winds from the interior, and even without the wind temps go to over a hundred...

If you are hydrated enough to sweat, wind (even hot) would cool a bit, but given normal body temp is cooler than the wind at 117F I doubt it would feel cool.

I'd say that Ian could tell you more about the winds from the west more...
They usually bring stinking hot weather, and they feel like a blast from an oven when you open it to put the food in for baking...
