LOL. Well, I suppose that qualifys as wild life as well. grin

We get a lot of cheaters up our road as well, you can always pick em, two vehicles, on a dead end road. grin

Well, I like to leave them be, but not when on my road. I've watched them toss cigarettes into the brush on occasion so I just holler to them that they can stay but no smoking. Most leave (almost) immediately smile

Oddly, no pigs. It is about time for them to come outta the hills and do exploratory roots. Soon, I expect.

Lol. Yep that's quite a night. It's a shame so many people get spooky in the dark. A nice stroll like that can sure make you feel alive.

I do not know why that is, the night has always been a haven for me ...but I guess I am half-wild and more nocturnal than most.

Tonight's a good night to be out here. Not a cloud in the sky and a nice bright moon.

Beautiful, but too much moon and the advantage goes to the hunters ...and against the hunted. Even though most of the hunted rely on more than sight, they seem to be more scarce at night as the moon brightens....

In the fall here once the moon is out, the deer get a lot more active. By that time of year the fields are cut and lots of food to be found. It's usually that time of year I have to really start paying attention at night to deer running out in front of me.

Interesting. Different behavior in different habitats. I am in a heavily wooded area broken by clearings and rocky outcropings.

And I'm surrounded by farm land broken up by groves of trees.

There are pretty tight hunting restrictions here, so maybe the deer have gotten comfortable being out then.

That, or they just can't resist the lure of corn.

I'm betting it's the corn as primary and the rest as secondary.

Well, we do have some pretty fat deer around here.

Fat, but dumb. They have no depth perception and like to run right out in front of you! I've lost count how many times I've gone off roaring to avoid hitting one.
