At the moment I have a Bruno, (CZ) and a Henry, I'm liking the Henry. The Bruno is the more accurate out of the two, but evens out somewhat in the bush.

All three nice choices. I favor simplicity and a robust design. Familiar with the Henry, and not so much the others, I think I'd pick the Henry- if only because I know it better.

I agree, but I find it difficult to allow myself some range time knowing that its almost impossible to replace the ammo that I've used.

Henrys are excellent rifles, so are CZs. They would serve anyone well.

Last year I was in the market for a bolt action, tube fed 22. I discovered Marlin is the only manufacturer producing them at the moment and it really surprised me to find no one else was making them. I bought the XT-22TSR ( stainless ) model. Tube fed ( no external box magazine to lose ) and it holds 25 shorts, 19 longs, or 17 long rifle. Its been a great rifle and I've had zero problems, but I haven't fired it since December.

Marlin 39M if you can find one. My uncle had one when I was a teenager in the sixties. I got a Golden 39A. That's my choice if I can't have a Mountie.

I recon my M6 will have to do- .22/410 single shot over/under.
Put a whole lot of meat on the table with it and ya can't ask for simpler. Only shot a "paper" target with it once, three rounds to dial it in and all the rest of the "target" practice is putting more meat on the table.

I have linked-up with a fella who makes his own arrows (of the primitive kind) and am learning a bunch. Have also been studying on bow making and such. Figure to come up with a war bow of some 80 lbs or so...

I have some loot stached in an ammo "account" and buy what I find because this was anticipated some years ago, to wit: can't control guns, control ammo.

I've got my stashes. Just keep adding to them slowly. More slowly these days...

To my knowledge, ammo is still readily available here, that surprises me as I would have thought we would have suffered before you guy's.
