Yup-
I was informed I was at my limit for use of those chemicals. Apparently they get absorbed through the skin and are accumulative. My symptoms are as you say, accompanied by 2 days flat on my back, sick. That is why I went looking for a better way.

The trick is finding dry ice. Not so easily obtainable anymore frown

You can order those little O2 absorbing packets online.

If ya have a local butcher, check with them.

Again, unless Walmart counts, sadly, the answer is no. I know it's out there. Just a matter of tracking it down. I used to help my parents throw dry ice in their wheat buckets as a kid. Loads of fun...

We had a butcher locally. About 10 years back they moved closer in to the city. That's the problem with the suburbs. The good stuff is either in closer or out further. I think the nearest butcher is about 20-30 miles away...

....depends upon who you are. I'd hitch the team. But then, I have four 50-gallon drums of grain cached, so it was worth the hitch.

We used to buy dried ice for transporting Kangaroo meat back in the sixties. Getting a bit stuck to your fingers on a cold night was never any fun. grin
