Unfortunately I didn't have the luck to take him HK frown I found that in the depths of our woods while hunting for something quite different but equally as pretty in my opinion....good old fatwood!

ThatGuyCF, that's still a very nice find man, especially so intact.

elof, just the one chopweiler. After I stripped it, I bead-blasted it. Then I blew it off and wiped it down good with mineral oil. I think because of the bead-blasting, the scales accepted more oil and darkened a lot. They are already starting to lighten a bit, and I think that will continue.

Been a while since I've posted here! Hope everyone is well. I've been slammed lately with anything and everything that could possibly happen. It's that time of year again, one of my favorites. When chestnuts fall. Very nostalgic for me. I remember as a kid going to my Pop's house and picking up bucketfuls of them. Now that he isn't doing so well, I'd like to dedicate this post to him. There's nothing I love more than family, but I'll be darned if a good blade and a pocketful of chestnuts don't come close.
