Wish it had the design elements of the 0560/0561 that make those desirable. I often said a smaller 0560 would be a winner. I guess there's still time for tweaks, but it looks like a mid-range item. By that I mean nicer than a Cryo (&2), but not as nice as the 0560/0561.

The 0566 sure looks nice, and in EDC size too... Pity we here will not get them... flippers are illegal to import... frown

Biggest thing to me is its an American made Hinderer design that is in my general price range. I try not to go much over 100 bucks on folders (this would be set aside if it came to a nice SnG or a real XM-18).

Perhaps it's a perk of the job. As good as you girls do at keeping customers happy, it's a well-deserved perk.

I wouldn't share if I had to wink I like having my rat trap all to myself.

You want to know something? I used to subscribe to the theory that my primary user should not exceed "X" dollars in value. Adopted that idea after breaking many knives and then losing a first run Benchmade auto that I carried for several years. Was tired of broken, failing and lost knives. So I went inexpensive.

That didn't last long. Knives kept failing. So I turned to the Internet looking for the "best" knives. It's where I found the brands I now carry and why I hang out in the very forums that I do.

Little selfish, but I completely understand.:D

If I make it to Blade you had better be prepared to play show-n-tell. Josh had his both times I checked (ATL, and at the Creek), btw.

You bet I had mine with me. I am starting to think that it is permanently attached to my hip. Which I am completely OK with.

I often have mine clipped into the left pocket of my jeans, being slim it rides there so well it's hard to even know you have it with you. though, when opened, it becomes a full sized folder and having it's drop point it is useful in most any situation.
